SOFTBALL NEW ZEALAND COACH DEVELOPMENT COURSES

Softball New Zealand Coaching Course Presenters Guidelines for Clubs & Associations Booklet
SNZ is very much reliant on our loyal softball community to assist with the development of coaches in the regions.
Due to this new environment Clubs and Associations are encouraged to hold courses for their rep and club coaches to ensure they receive the education required to up skill themselves and their players.

Moving forward coaching course presenters will receive suitable remuneration for the role. A key aspect however is that presenters must now be aligned to a Club or Association. It is the responsibility of the  Club or Association to identify a person who is accountable for the receipting requirements for each course undertaken. Clubs and Associations are also responsible for the planning and organisation of any coaching modules.

The attached document has full details on what the expectations are for our presenters, Clubs and Associations. Also listed in the booklet is a revised payment schedule for course presenters.

If you are aware of anyone in your region(s) that has the skills and experience to become a competent and capable coaching course presenter, then please let me know. To become approved requires the completion of an application form to formalise the process and ascertain the level the applicant is competent of delivering.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Glen Roff for more information.
