National Championships - Application Process and Schedules
Exams and Answer Papers Merchandise Gradings Tournament Chief Umpire (TCU) Tool Box Technical Bulletins Mechanical Bulletins Rules and CasePlays Policies and Guidelines Education and training Traveling Umpires' Reports National Umpiring Staff (NUS) Reporting Development guides - under development National ChampionshipNational Fastpitch Tournaments are held throughout the country primarily between the months of October through to the end of March. Secondary Schools' Division Two takes place in December, National Age Grade Tournaments for Under 15, Under 17, and Under19 take place in January each year. This season's Men and Women's Fastpitch Championship takes place in February. Open Men and Women Championships take place in March along with the Secondary Schools Division One.

Tournament Chief Umpire (TCU) Tool BoxListed below are a number of documents Tournament Chief Umpires may require during the period they are assigned to national tournaments as SNZ's Official Tournament Chief Umpire.
Technical BulletinsTechnical Bulletins contains information relating to the Rules and Interpretations of the current playing rules of the game. Any changes from ISF Congress are reviewed and technical bulletins are created for umpires, coaches, administrators and players to remain current with International Interpretations.
Mechanical BulletinsMechanical Bulletins contains information relating to umpire mechanics and rotations. The following documents follow best practices of the ISF which provides consistency to SNZ as a member of the ISF community. In addition SNZ Traveling Umpires who have attended International competitions abroad have also brought back to New Zealand best practices of the International community. In this section you will read about the many experiences SNZ Umpires have had whilst traveling abroad. Umpires that are selected to travel abroad must provide a report to the General Manager SNZ and the Umpire-in-Chief three weeks after the conclusion of their tour.
