The Under 19 Boys and Girls tournaments have been staged since 1963. For the boys, the Auckland team has won 17 titles closely followed by Wellington with 16 titles. In fact, out of the 43 times this tournament has been staged either Auckland or Wellington has won it on 33 occasions.
In the U19 Girls tournament Auckland again lead the way by taking away 17 titles. However, this time it is Hutt Valley on the heels of Auckland as they have won 13 titles including 5 of the last 7 tournaments.
