5/09/2011 It is with great sadness we advise of the passing of Wayne Arthurs on Monday the 5th September. Wayne had suffered from cancer in recent years. Among Wayne's contributions to softball was umpiring. Wayne hailed from the Hutt Valley gaining his New Zealand Badge in the 1986/87 season and his International Certification when attending the ISF Junior Men's World Championship in Canada in 1989. A celebration of Wayne's life will be held in Cornwall Manor, cnr Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt on Tuesday September 13 at 2pm. |
