Sport New Zealand
Sport NZ provides leadership in research and the development and implementation of policies that recognise the importance of sport and physical recreation to New Zealand.
We provide policy advice to the Government on sport and recreation and work with other Government agencies to increase participation and strengthen the sport and physical recreation sector.
We have partnerships with key organisations in the sport and recreation sector (primarily national-level sport and recreation organisations and regional sports trusts) to help us achieve our outcomes.
These partner organisations deliver sport and physical recreation to New Zealanders from the grassroots to the high performance level. Sport NZ is not primarily a delivery agency, but is responsible for setting direction and providing investment and resources to the sector. Sport NZ works to “promote, encourage and support physical recreation and sport in New Zealand”. More... |

Sirius Sports
Sirius Sports started in 2003 as a direct importer with one goal: To provide athletes in New Zealand with the top performing gear and uniforms available on the market. Today, that goal remains the same, but we now market over 14 brands and we fulfil our goal simply by importing the best global products and bringing them together under one roof. We differ from the competition in that we are players ourselves, so we know the products inside and out from our own experience. So we can offer real advice on products and we also carry a larger variety of specialist softball and baseball gear that performs in order to provide you, the customer, a greater variety of quality choice. It has been our privilege to work with Softball NZ and teams across the country, and we thank you for your support. More... |
