Results Day 1: Defending champions Te Aroha made a good start to their defence of the national women’s open club softball title at Rosesdale Park in Albany yesterday.
The Hutt Valley club team opened the Radio Sport women’s club open with a comfortable 21-1 win over Otahuhu in their first game of the tournament. Then later in the day they beat the Tauranga club side Braves 22-5.
