Gwen Jones dies in Tauranga (25 August). Gwen Jones was in top form at the end of the 1950s, winning places in the Auckland team for two years (1948-49 and 49-50) before a long spell of raising Clint, Malcolm, Warren, Erin and Denise ended her softball career. more
