Resulting from a gathering of Auckland and Wellington Representative Players, at the old Broadway Clubrooms, sometime during the 1962 Season, discussion centred on getting the old players to meet annually for a game, somewhere central to both teams. more

Rules of N.Z. Evergreens (As ratified at the 1986 meeting)
1. Players must have played Senior A Representative Softball, (for any province), and must have been out of rep. Softball for a minimum of 2 years.

The National Evergreens Tournament held at Wellington Ball Park, March, 2007, saw some tremendous games, and the many spectators who watched games over two days of wonderful weather, were treated to some topline Softball games, easily as good as you would see played anywhere. more
