It's with great sadness we advise of the passing of one of the good guys of our sport. Ray Tibbitts passed at 5pm Sunday 29th September at North Shore Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Our condolences to the family for one of the gentlemen of our sport.
The local softball season will step up to the plate with a good sense of optimism for the 2019-2020 summer starting Saturday 28 September.
It is with great sadness that we advise that long time Wellington Softball Stalwart Barry Nichols passed away yesterday. Barry had a long and passionate playing history for his club Melrose, as well as representing Wellington and NZ. Funeral service details to follow.

For the up and coming season covering all national and international tournaments only approved bats that appear on the WBSC Approved Bat List will be acceptable. Bats will conform to the bat checks that are currently in place but they must appear on the WBSC Approved Bat List.
