WHANAUNGATANGA - Relationships - A sense of belonging within a whānau: Emphasize building strong relationships within the SOX Nation based on trust, respect, and mutual support. Encourage open communication and collaboration, valuing everyone’s contribution.
- Culture - Create an empowering and transforming mana enhancing culture of excellence with our ‘Mouri’ woven throughout all levels of the SOX Nation. Promote a culture of accountability and responsibility where players/coaches take ownership of their actions and performance.

- Tangata - Our people are encouraged to continuously progress and learn in a supportive environment.

- Alignment - Ensure alignment throughout SOX Nation. Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and resourced to support High-Performance outcomes.
Picture of Performance - Develop achievable and measurable benchmark targets, and support athletes to reach them, that enable our aspiring athletes to strive for.
Pathway - Develop a pathway for young players to progress through junior ranks to eventually represent the Black Sox and White Sox teams at pinnacle events.
Stakeholders - Establish and nurture all relationships that add value to the performance of the Sox Nation through a culture of collaboration

Tangata - Our Black Sox and White Sox teams remain competitive and successful on the world softball stage. We have the right people in the right roles, performing to their potential while ensuring our coaching, support staff and personnel remain at the leading edge of international practice.
Technical & Tactical - Establish a comprehensive training program focusing on skill development, physical conditioning, and mental toughness through the Picture of Performance.
Education - Provide and support educational opportunities for our tangata to be upskilled across the SOX Nation.
