WBSC RANKING #2
Japan will spearhead the Asian continent after winning the 11th Men’s Softball Asian Cup in Kochi, Japan last month.
Japan won the continental championship by defeating the Philippines 9-2 in the championship game.
Japan will be a strong favourite having won the silver medal at the 2019 World Cup in Prague. The Japanese have a strong pool of talent coming through with the national U18 men taking out the world title in Palmerston North in 2020.
