THE SOFTBALL NZ CENTURIONS TRUST AWARD SIX YOUNG ASPIRING ATHLETES' DEVELOPMENT GRANTS

The Softball NZ Centurions Trust has today awarded six athletes from within the national age-grade pathway a development grant to assist in furthering their softball dreams.

3 female and 3 male athletes from the respective Development Sox and Junior Sox national programmes have each been awarded a $500 grant.

The Centurions Trust is supported by Softball NZ principal partner Golden Homes.

The Trustees include eight of the greatest players to have ever graced the diamond and whom have all played over 100 tests for their country.

Deed of Trust
The trust has been established with the assistance of Softball NZ principal partner, Golden Homes to promote and develop young softball talent within the national junior pathway, namely Developing Sox, and Junior Sox teams.
 

Authorised Purpose State
Grants shall benefit only the amateur sport of Softball where the aim shall be to assist young identified participants within the national pathway outlined in the Deed of Trust for an authorised purpose not exceeding $500.00

  • October 30, 2020 applications close at 5:00pm for SOFTBALL NZ CENTURIONS TRUST
  • November 6, 2020 Trustees Meeting
  • November 9, 2020 Softball NZ announces successful applicants

PETER BROWN MEMORIAL FRIENDSHIP AWARD 2014



Definition: The Peter Brown Memorial Friendship Award aims to promote friendship between the United States and New Zealand. The NZ$2,000 award pursues its aim through contributing towards a New Zealand citizen's study in the United States. No limitation is placed on the field of study or use of the award. The award is available ONLY to applicants undertaking undergraduate study.
