Lace Tangianau

Lace had an outstanding performance for the Hutt Valley NFC team who were winners of the national title.

Her defence at 1st base was solid but it was in the batter’s box where she stood out, hitting in the middle of a strong HV line-up her ability to drive in runs for the team especially in clutch situations was a standout.

Lace was the Most Outstanding Player for her HV Saints Team. She performed exceedingly well at club nationals where her team finished in 4th place.

Lace coaches an U15 club team where she is highly regarded by her young charges.

She is loyal and committed to softball and trains hard at improving her skill level.

Lace has been a stalwart of two Junior White Sox Teams for World Champs. Unfortunately the 2020 team were withdrawn from travelling to Peru due to Covid. She was however later named in the 2021 NZ White Sox squad.

Lace has just left New Zealand on a 2 year scholarship at Angelina Junior College in Texas.
