Passing of Lesley Byrne

It is with great sadness I advise that Lesley Byrne passed away this morning (28th May). Lesley was known to many of us as the long serving Executive Officer of Papanui Softball Club until recent times. She also had a history with the Canterbury Junior Advisory Board and had managerial and coaching roles of junior rep teams in past years.

She will be long remembered and admired for her dedication to the sport and a servant of softball and softballers.

Our deepest condolences to the Byrne family.
